Team 6135

Team Information

Our Vex Robotics Team, 6135, is a lot bigger than just our teams. Our robotics team is a big part our teams and members, but an even bigger part our coach and mentors and even the many teams we mentor that prepare our teams for the next generation of engineers and VEX Robotics team members.

Team 6135's Coach

The biggest reason for our success, or even our chance to be as great as we are is because of our beloved teacher and coach Mr. Jason Neagle. The only reason we are able to do what we do, spend as much time as we do, afford what we want to do, and learn what we do is because of the unbelievable and extraordinary effort that our coach give our teams throughout the year. Our coach makes himself available to us over 40 hours a week (not counting school hours) so that we may be able to come into the lab and do what we love. Our success would not be remotely possible if it weren't for him.

Mr. Neagle was recently awarded the 2018 VEX Worlds Teacher of the Year award and is now a member of the STEM Hall of Fame.

Monday's Man Jason Neagle

Team 6135's Mentor

Another vital part of our team is our mentor, Mr. Ben Sego. Many times throughout the day when our Team Coach is busy or we have questions about complicated and advanced programming techniques, we are lucky enough to have Mr. Ben Sego to help us. He is a programmer by profession and we could not function without his guidance on programs throughout the year.

Mr. Sego has been mentoring VEX Robotics teams since 2015. Mr. Sego has a background in programming, electronics, and
all things technical. Mr. Sego is a great resource for the team members for the many problems that arise and is also great at
repairing electronics that we break often. Mr. Sego also coaches a Middle School team the "Glendale Technicals"

Team 6135's Volunteers

The last part of our team we would like to recognize are our amazing volunteers that make each and every competition a reality. We would like to recognize all of our gracious and amazing parents who help transport us, help setup and take down our competitions, and make sure we are always on the right track. In particular, we would like to recognize some of the volunteers that have helped an extraordinary amount through the year.
