We are team 6135F and this is our third year together as a team. This year we added one new member along with the returning four from last year. Some of our team goals for the season to qualify for State and then World’s. Three of our five members have done it for at least 3 years and have World’s experience.
Gavin Vice
I am a Senior at Central Hardin High School and this is my fourth year doing Vex Robotics. I am the driver and team captain of 6135F. After high school I plan to continue with engineering at the University of Kentucky. Some of my strengths are that I've been driving all 4 years and have worked with the code before. One of my weaknesses is that I am not a very strong builder.
Braden Bybee
I am a senior at Central Hardin High School and I’ve been in Vex since eighth grade and I’m in the PLTW pathway. I am the team programmer for team 6135F. My strengths are that I’ve learned more about programming each year that I’ve done Vex. My weaknesses are that I’m not very good at building. I’m excited to be a part of the team and contribute as much as I can.
Ben Truitt
I’m a Senior at Central Hardin and have been doing engineering since freshman year of high school. This is my first year in VEX Robotics. I am a builder and back up driver. My strengths are I am decent at everything. My weakness is I’m not spectacular at anything specific. I’m excited to try hard at VEX this year.
Gavin Ladner
I am in twelfth grade at Central Hardin and in the Early College Program. I've been associated with PLTW since freshman year but just started Vex robotics last school year. I've been taken in by team 6135F. I have many strengths and weaknesses. I'm strong as like being a good worker and also very easy going and am able to work with anyone. Although it is my second year and I'm still kind of green to it all. I'm ready to do what is necessary to win.
Tanner Hess
I am a junior at Central Hardin High School and I’ve been in Vex since ninth grade and I'm in the PLTW pathway. I was a team programmer my first year and this year I plan to be the assistant builder. My strengths are that I know a good bit about programming from last year and can help build the robot in times of need. My weakness is driving which I am horrible at. I’m excited to start my third year of Vex and help my team get to the top.

In the 2016-2017 Starstruck season, team 6135F began their career together. 6135F would go on to become a world-class robotics team placing 26th in skills going into Worlds.
