We are team 6135W. This is our 4th and final year in VEX Robotics. With our new team roster this year, consisting of Andrew Schreacke, Mayson Frasure, Theron Lowe, Jaren Carman, and Taylor Smith, this is our strongest year yet. We plan on accomplishing great things this year!
Andrew Schreacke
I have 4 years in VEX Robotics, and it is my fourth year as team captain of 6135W. I love programming, fixing things, and working on VEX. This year my greatest challenge will be keeping my team productive. I am in VEX because because I will do anything it takes to go one step farther than anyone else.
Theron Lowe
I am a senior at Central Hardin High School, and this is my fourth year of VEX. I am a founding member of team 6135W and am proud to be a contiguous member. I'm planning on graduating from high school with four years of PLTW classes in engineering, and I currently plan on going to university to study to become a computer engineer. I hope to help my team greatly by analyzing the game as well as our opponents and their strategies in order to take us to great heights.
Taylor Smith
I am a sophomore at Central Hardin High School. This will be my second year of robotics, and I now consider robotics as a part of my daily life. I joined VEX on a recommendation from a member and I've loved it ever since.
Mayson Fraysure
I am a senior at Central Hardin High School and have become very interested in VEX Robotics this past year and I plan to learn a lot more than I have previously learned. This is my second year in VEX, and I am proud to be a new member of 6135W. I have learned many things this last year and strive to learn a lot more with our new team. I joined VEX because it just sounded cool and at first I didn't think I was going to enjoy it, but I ended up being very dedicated, and it's my favorite hobby, as with computers too.
Jaren Carman
I am a senior at Central Hardin High School and this will be my second year of VEX. When I first joined VEX I was a bit skeptical about it but as the year went on, VEX became my favorite activity to do. I spent so much time trying to improve my skills and my knowledge of the game, and in the end, it was worth it.
6135W 2016-2017
In the 2016-2017 Starstruck season, team 6135W became a world-class team with achievements ranging from first in robot skills going into Worlds to winning the CREATE US Open Championship and the Excellence Award at the same tournament. The team also finished 3rd in the VEX Worlds Round Robin after winning the Research Division.
